Garnier Fructis wowed guests at its recent product launch event in Los Angeles, showcasing its new haircare collection with a clever science-themed extravaganza. Held at The Pavilion at Century Park on Feb. 28, the event was inspired by the product’s promise to repair hair “seven layers deep,” featuring interactive experiments and engaging demonstrations.
Attendees were treated to a hands-on experience with Garnier’s lab team, who conducted tests to showcase the product’s effectiveness in repairing damaged hair. Using innovative methods, such as translating hair damage into sound, guests could visualize and understand the science behind the haircare collection.
Before the event, guests filled out an online form and a brief hair quiz, allowing Garnier to customize product samples based on individual hair needs. The 200-plus attendees, including content creators and media from various genres, enjoyed vitamin C elixirs and nutrient-rich bites while experiencing the brand’s innovative approach to haircare.
Catering company Pausmith Group enhanced the science-themed experience by incorporating beakers, pipettes, and dry ice into the F&B presentation. Meanwhile, a giant working hair-dryer provided guests with dramatic photo opportunities, and permanent bracelets served as a tangible reminder of the product’s strengthening properties.
The event, supported by WPP Onefluence, exemplified Garnier Fructis’ commitment to innovation and science-backed haircare solutions, leaving attendees impressed and excited about the new product line.
