Percept ICE, the Experiential Marketing, Event Management & Brand Activations Domain Company of Percept Limited, designed and produced an exquisite ‘IIJS (India International Jewellery Show) Networking Night’ on August 8, 2024, followed by the prestigious ‘Jewellers for Hope’ Charity Gala on August 9, 2024, at the JIO World Convention Centre (JWCC) in Mumbai. Hosted for the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the exclusive Networking and Accolades Night drew over 2,500 distinguished guests, while the intimate ‘By-Invite’ Charity Gala Dinner welcomed 550 esteemed attendees, including celebrities and leading figures from the fashion, gems, and jewellery industries.

The team ensured impeccable guest relations and top-tier security for a star-studded line-up of industry icons while expertly managing the charity auction. The ‘IIJS Networking Night’ on August 8, 2024, was a grand celebration of the Gems & Jewellery industry’s finest, honouring their exceptional contributions with unwavering dedication and passion that have not only revolutionized the industry but also inspired generations of artisans and entrepreneurs. The evening was a dazzling affair, which saw the “Legends Award Ceremony” where prestigious awards were presented to legendary figures and distinguished jewellers who had achieved remarkable milestones over the past year. The evening saw Mr. Sachin Jain, Regional CEO – India, World Gold Council (WGC), launch the new logo of WGC in a dazzling show of colour and style. The night reached its crescendo with a mesmerizing performance by the iconic Shankar Mahadevan, who captivated the audience with his melodious artistry, making the event truly unforgettable.

The 9th edition of the GJEPC prestigious charity event, ‘Jewellers for Hope,’ held on August 9, 2024, exemplified the industry’s commitment to societal good. This year’s gala not only highlighted the compassionate side of the Indian Gems & Jewellery community but also forged connections with prominent industry figures. The evening saw a generous donation to the MIAM Charitable Trust – an NGO committed to positively impacting communities via education, healthcare, and sustainable development initiatives, and GJNRF (Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation), a charitable body founded by the gem and jewellery industry in 1999, dedicated to providing aid in the wake of war, natural disasters, and global crises.

The event was graced by Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan, who attended as the Guest of Honor and UNICEF ambassador. In a captivating on-stage interview with Emcee Siddharth Kanan, Kareena shared insights into the organization’s positive influence across India through its various initiatives. The Charity Dinner also featured a special interaction with Mr. Paul Rowley, Executive Vice President of De Beers, who engaged with guests and underscored the industry’s dedication to philanthropic endeavors.

Other industry leaders present at the events included Mr. Vipul Shah (Chairman, GJEPC), Mr. Kirit Bhansali (Vice Chairman, GJEPC); Mr. Nirav Bhansali (Convener, National Exhibitions), and Mr. Milan Chokshi, Convener, Promotion Marketing, GJEPC.
